LabTalks S1E6

This was my first ever video interview, and I could not have asked for a better person to share it with. I had the pleasure of sitting down with someone I had the fortune of meeting during my PhD for a conversation that felt as natural as it was wide-ranging.
We talked about how I ended up in this field: starting out in optometry, then pivoting toward physics, and eventually landing in biomedical engineering research. Along the way I discovered a deep fascination with light - specifically with interferometry and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) - and how these tools can reveal the hidden mechanical life of biological tissues.
